Candera releases newest version of UI design tool: exbeans® UI Conductor 1.9.11
Candera has released the newest version of its UI design tool for embedded devices, exbeans UI Conductor (hereinafter “UI Conductor”) 1.9.11.
UI Conductor 1.9.11 offers support for the software development guidelines, MISRA C, as well as the innovative image format, QOI. This new version also achieves stellar performance through improvements in the text checker function and overall usability.

Along with its HMI creation tools CGI Studio and Candera Studio, Candera also provides UI Conductor, a tool used to design UIs for embedded devices. It allows for increased productivity by allowing the user to visually create and edit UIs, keeping their initial vision intact until it is ported to the target device.
Using plugin architecture, users can optimize the features of UI Conductor for their specific development environment. Users can also create prototypes while performing quality checks at any stage of the design process. UI Conductor 1.9.11 offers documentation containing steps on how to prove that one’s development is in accordance with MISRA C, coding guidelines for critical systems which require high levels of safety and reliability. In addition, UI Conductor now supports the image format QOI, a format similar to PNG which achieves noticeably faster encoding and compression compared to more traditional formats.
With the new and improved text checker, users can now perform multiple checks at once and at any time while texts are being processed. Improvements in usability in areas such as checking the display state of an object allow for even easier creation of UIs. UI Conductor 1.9.11 also achieves outstanding performance through the faster processing of input, display, and the loading of various texts and images.
